Fund Raising

ANNUAL Carpenter House Yard Sale, our major fund raiser for the year, will be held Friday and Saturday, August 26 and 27, 2022.  If you have items to donate to the sale, please bring them by on Thursday the 25th at Noon, or on Friday the 26th at 8am.  Please don’t bring any large heavy items as we cannot handle them.  Looking forward to seeing you there on Friday and Saturday, 8am to 3pm!!

Our Historical Society is grateful for the support of HUMANITIES WASHINGTON and the NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR THE HUMANITIES in providing funding of $7,000 to cover our two museums’ utilities costs for 2021 and 2022.  Their support is crucial to our museum operations as we continue to regain our footing after the COVID-19 pandemic hit.

We also want to acknowledge the amazing support offered by the local NKC Tribune newspaper, who generously offers us matching funds when we advertise our museums.  THANK YOU!

Donations are always welcomed by our historical society – a non-profit 501c3 organization – and are needed for the upkeep of our two historic museums.  There are two different ways you can donate to NKCHS:
